| Thank you ALL for the birthday wishes, it turned out pretty good. The surgery that I had was a central line to kill infection in a sore on my butt through IV antibiotics. Too much info yet? Surgery was a success...it's a girl! Hahaha.. Really though, the IV part is true and I didn't even have to be put under. I told the doctors I didn't have any feeling below my neck anyway... so go for it... I'll let you know if I need anything for pain. After a hour and ten minutes she was finished, I had no pain and all of the doctors and nurses “there were at least ten of them,” all of them said they had witnessed something that they hadn’t ever seen before, so my early morning surgery went pretty well. The best part of today was dinner with Jason and my Mom. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse and the baby back slab of ribs were truly wonderful...oh yeah, I have to say something about the desert plate they sent home with us because we didn‘t have room for it. If you get a chance go on Longhorn Steakhouse website and then look up “Chocolate Stampede“, then you'll understand a little. If you like chocolate you’ll have to try it sometime. Rick |
