| I hope the first month of this new year has treated you well. I know it's been a while since I posted anything. So far this first month has been a roller coaster ride for me. The good news is positive changes now has a new board. They have wonderful ideas about how to help positive changes move ahead for this upcoming year. Sometimes I feel like I have been chosen to do something that will eventually make other lives better. With the group of people that has been formed, I know positive changes has a great year ahead. Now on the not so good side. Two people in the last six days that I cared about deeply, have passed away. I have known them both since I was about 10 years old. One of them was my best friends grandmother. The other was one of my fathers friends for over 30 years. Since my father's passing four years ago and my dad's friend only living a few houses away, we had become very good friends also. I hope their souls find each other and just maybe they can have a good old time once again. With life being so fragile, I still do not understand why kids are killing each other over the outcome of a high school basketball game. Just tonight earlier on the Channel 9 news there was a news update that high school age kids had automatic weapons shooting at each other and luckily only five people were hit with stray bullets that did Not cause any casualties. Have a good and safe weekend. Rick |
